We store data that is necessary and relevant to the service provided by us. Any processing of your data is only done to provide or perform the services you have requested. We collect and process personal information from individuals: 

1. Contacting Sleepy Joe’s: when you make a reservation by phone or communicate with us by email. The information includes your name, telephone number and email address.
2. Online (booking)services: we collect personal data when you use our online third party platform service to make a reservation or to communicate with us. Prior to making a reservation, you will have the opportunity to sign up and create your account on our third party platform, our booking partner. Your personal data shall be processed by the third party as the processor, the processing is further specified in the privacy policies of third parties. The information collected includes your first and surname, e-mail address, (mobile) phone number, birth date, arrival and departure dates, hotel room(s), credit card data, repeat visits. 
3. Visiting us: we collect personal data at various touch points throughout your guest journey, which is in accordance with law such as: contact information (name, gender, postal address, telephone number, email address), language preference, data and place of birth, nationality, passport or other government-issued identification data, prior guest visits.
   
   We use CCTV in our aparthotels and serviced apartments to help ensure the security of those premises and our guests in general. Any use of CCTV by Sleepy Joe’s or its affiliates is carried out in compliance with Data Protection Laws. We do not record audio on the CCTV, so your conversations will not be recorded. There are no CCTV cameras within any of the apartments. We use CCTV to monitor entrances, exits, hallways and other common public spaces within the buildings.  The CCTV recordings can only be accessed by the security team. We will only share them as required to comply with our legal responsibilities or if we otherwise deem it necessary to ensure the safety and security of our staff, guests and visitors. 

What information is automatically collected when you visit our website? 

Our server may gather and store the following information about your visit: IP address, the type of browser and operating system used to access our site, the pages you visit, clicking behaviour, the date and time of your visit. We periodically analyse our weblogs to improve the value of our website. Our weblogs are not personally identifiable and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals who browse the site. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server,  and to administer our website. An IP address only provides information about who your internet service provider is, it can not be used to personally identify you. 

How do we protect your information? 

Abovementioned personal data is processed by Sleepy Joe’s because this has been provided by you as the data subject on your own initiative, was obtained in the context of provision of services, has been shared by third parties to us, amongst which counterparties, or has become known through public sources.

Sleepy Joe’s processes personal data to provide services to you, improve performance of services and to communicate with you as the person concerned. You – being the data subject – are in control to decide whether to participate in this and provide your personal data. 

We will take the necessary steps in the preparation of, or to fulfil our obligations under, a booking contract: 

1. Bookings and payments – provide communication about bookings, products and services being provided to you; 
2. Booking updates – send details of new, amended, or cancelled bookings, usually via email; 
3. Updates on matters affecting your booking – contact you (and others if their personal information is provided by you) in the event of a change that affects a booking or any data or personal information you have provided us with, such as changes to terms and conditions of booking or this privacy policy;
4. Website service communication – provide notifications of any changes to our website or to our services that may affect you
